Who We Are

After more than a decade of independent careers, we are excited to combine our creative forces to establish Edgewater Coastal Blinds & Interiors. With over 20 years of experience doing what we love – turning ordinary or outdated spaces into bespoke sanctuaries– we invite ambiance and authenticity to meld into one beautiful aesthetic. As creatives, it is our job to interpret your ideas and bring them to fruition with our guidance and expertise. Cameron and Patti work together to bring exciting and thorough reflections to every home. As a design showroom, art gallery and novelty store, we offer design services both in home and in store, custom window and wall treatments, local art, rugs, lighting, Farrow & Ball Paint, and many other decor and staging accoutrements.

Cameron Gross is the Owner and Principal Designer at Edgewater Coastal Blinds & Interiors. Her ability to harmonize color with texture and lighting are signature trademarks for bringing Feng Shui to her projects. She values her close relationships with her clients and aims to implement meaningful and sustainable designs into their lives. A “forever scholar,” Cameron graduated from East Carolina with a BS in English and Classical Studies, an Associates in Interior Design , and a MA in Sustainable Urban Development from DePaul University.

Previous owner of Edgewater Linen, Art & Interiors, Patti Norris, has over 40 years experience in the Art & Interior Design arena. Her background includes extensive knowledge in Window Covering Manufacturing and Sales, wherein she worked in a family owned business when the "Hunter Douglas" name was new in the U.S. in the early 80's! Patti has a BS in Art & Textile Design from East Carolina, as well as an Associates in Photography. She has taught Art and Interior Design in both high school and college levels in the greater Eastern Carolina area.
